Broadway In Detroit will offer Open Caption Service for select performances this season to meet the needs of hearing impaired patrons. Currently, an Open Caption Service performance is scheduled for Elf The Musical, the hilarious modern holiday tale based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit Elf, and War Horse, the family-friendly epic story of a boy and his horse, and winner of five 2011 Tony Awards including Best Play. As the season progresses, Open Caption Service will be offered for additional shows.
For Elf The Musical, the Open Caption performance is on Thursday, Dec.5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. For War Horse, the Open Caption performance is on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Designated seats for those in need of this service are located on the main floor. A limited number of specially priced tickets for the reserved section ($34-$69 for Elf The Musical and $40-$90 for War Horse) may be purchased at the Fisher Theatre Box Office or by phone at 313-872-1000, ext. 0.
