Do you want to be all dressed up with some place to go on Sunday, June 10, for theatre lovers' most sacred night? The Maple Theater invites you to walk the red carpet, have your picture taken, enjoy live music, dine on a sumptuous five-course dinner and then have unlimited popcorn and soda while watching the 72nd Annual Tony Awards live broadcast.

"We want Tony Awards fans to come dressed up and enjoy the star-studded evening we've got planned," says Maple Theater Co-Owner Ruth Daniels. "What better way to watch the Tony Awards broadcast than on our big screen?"

For the third year, the Maple Theater and Kitchen is partnering with Broadway in Detroit for the viewing party. Broadway in Detroit will host the live viewing party with contests during commercial breaks for tickets and gift certificates.

Guests should take advantage of the five-course pre-show dinner package in The Maple Kitchen's dining room. The gourmet meal includes chicken lollipops, lemon rice soup, salad, mahi mahi with coconut rice and mango salsa and New York cheesecake for dessert. Tickets for the 6:30 p.m. pre-show dinner, popcorn, soft drinks, coffee and tea as well as a Fisher Theatre gift bag are $40 and must be reserved and purchased by Thursday. Call a Maple Theater manager at (248) 855-9091.

Tickets for the Viewing Party, without the pre-show dinner package, are $10 including unlimited popcorn and soda and may be reserved online at www.themapletheater.com.

Tina Fey's musical Mean Girls, which ties for 12 Tony nominations with SpongeBob SquarePants features three University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance (UMSMTD) alumni Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park and Erika Henningsen. UMSMTD alum Alexander Gemignani is also up for a Tony Award for Carousel.
