The adventures of a spunky 9-year-old girl who is left to her own devices when her mother goes to heaven and her father gets lost at sea, Pippi’s view of life is as fun as her bright-red flyaway braids. Along with her friends Tommy and Annika, a horse on the porch and a monkey named Mr. Nilsson, Pippi goes on unstoppable expeditions through the neighborhood. A fierce individualist who cannot be held back, Pippi makes the best of every situation, including teaching the burglars in her house a lesson in manners. At first glance this fun-loving and outrageous young girl seems to not fit in anywhere, but once someone meets her, they can’t seem to live without her. Written by Thomas W. Olson with music by Roberta Carlson.
