YoungArts Spotlights Emerging Artists During MIAMI ART WEEK 2017

During Miami Art Week, the work of recent National YoungArts Foundation alumni, some of the country's most promising emerging artists, will be on view throughout Miami in two exhibitions presented by the organization, and a unique curated experience at Brickell City Centre.

Curated by multidisciplinary artist and YoungArts master teacher Derrick Adams, IMAGINATION LAND: Fantastical Narrative features multimedia work from 11 YoungArts alumni responding to consumerism, gender roles, the environment and ceremonial ritual.

Additionally, YoungArts winners are eligible for nomination as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students who exemplify academic and artistic excellence.?
