Willie Nelson will be appearing at the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, October 21, at 8:00 pm

With a career that spans six decades, over 200 albums and every conceivable award and honor that can be bestowed to a person in his profession, Willie Hugh Nelson has earned the title "living legend." Among his accomplishments, the prolific songwriter from Texas has 8 Grammy Awards and is the recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award and The Gene Weed Special Achievement Award given by the Academy of Country Music for unprecedented and genre-defying contributions to popular music.

He has reached the top of the charts with classic hits such as "On The Road Again," "Always On My Mind," "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" and the popular duet with Julio Iglesias, "To All The Girls I've Loved Before." Most recently he performed in a video with Toby Keith featuring the No. 1 single "Beer for My Horses."
