October 14 at 8:00 p.m. musical phenomenon Celtic Thunder with bring Heritage to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
The wholly entertaining Celtic Thunder pays homage to the musical culture of Ireland with their new CD, DVD concert special, and now concert tour Heritage, as seen on Public Television stations. Heritage, produced by Sharon Browne and longtime collaborator Phil Coulter, features performances by fan-favorites--each with their own unique stage personas-Ryan Kelly, George Donaldson, Keith Harkin, Paul Byrom, Damian McGinty, Neil Byrne and the latest addition to the Celtic Thunder Emmet Cahill, who was awarded the 2010 John Mc Cormack Bursary for the most Promising Young Tenor. In Heritage these foxy and charming Irishmen return to their roots with an inspired collection of songs, including the sweet and tranquil "Kindred Spirits", the rousing jig, "A Place In The Choir", the seductive "Black Is The Color," and the upbeat "Whiskey In The Jar."

(The New York Times) has had the distinct honor of performing for President Obama at The White House's St. Patrick's Day celebration in 2009, and opening New York City's famed St. Patrick's Day Parade on 5th Avenue two consecutive years in a row (2008 & 2009).
