Actors' Playhouse is Now Enrolling For Its
Spring Session, Mini Camp, and its Summer Camp Programs


Actors' Playhouse Theatre Conservatory hosts an annual theatre arts training program for children, teen, and adults to hone their skills in acting for theatre, camera and musical theatre, as well as develop self esteem and greater communication skills. All conservatory programs are limited in size offering personal training to all participants.
 
Actors' Playhouse is now accepting enrollment for the Conservatory Spring Session, Spring Break Mini-Camp, Summer Children's Camp and Teen One-Act Showcase.
 
The Conservatory Spring Session begins March 20-May 20 with a break week from April 10-15 featuring classes in acting for the stage and camera and musical theatre. The fee for individual classes varies from $225 to $450. Spring Break Mini-Camp is April 10-14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spring Break Mini-Camp consists of five days of concentrated study of theatre. Includes warm-up and audition techniques, theatre games, improvisation, music and dance, plus an end of the week performance for family and friends. Spring Break Mini-Camp fee is $300.

The Children's Summer Theatre Camp consisting of two sessions, Session I will run June 5 – June 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and Session II will run July 3 – July 28, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily.  Each session of the summer camp provides hands-on experience and gives young actors the opportunity to explore the many aspects of theatre.  

The camp program develops imagination, writing of original monologues and scenes. The camp program culminates with a production for family and friends on an original stage. Early morning and late afternoon pick-ups are available for an additional fee. Camp fee is $800 per session and includes a camp t-shirt and group photo. Camp sessions are open to ages 7 -12.

The Teen One-Act Showcase will be held June 19 – July 28, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  This showcase offers students the opportunity to apply skills learned in other classes to a concentrated production effort. Fee is $400. Ages 13-18 are welcome in the showcase session.  
 
Many of Actors' Playhouse students have become important regional actors and have appeared on Broadway and in national road tours.
 
Conservatory teachers are experienced South Florida theatre professionals and educators who work under the direction of Children's Director Earl Maulding. Actors' Playhouse is a not-for-profit professional Equity theatre committed to offering the highest caliber theatre-training program benefiting students of all ages.
