WOMAN IN BLACK BRINGS THRILLS
AND CHILLS TO ATLANTIC THEATER
ONLY ONE MORE WEEKEND OF THIS SHOW! November 5th-7th

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and the Atlantic Theater are calling all adventurers to cling tight to their loved ones this Season during a special production of The Woman in Black, a gothic ghost story adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the book by Susan Hill. The performance ran this past weekend and will go through November 7th with show times Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 6pm and matinee productions Saturday at 3pm at the intimate Atlantic Theater in Jupiter.

Hailed as "A brilliant must see thriller!" by the West End Review, the play continues to run in London's Fortune Theater after more than 20 years, frightening thousands of audience members each year. Success of the show is credited by the unique atmosphere and the fact that "fear and isolation are key" to the production. Atlantic Theater's Executive Director and co-star of the show, Frank Licari, knows that feeling will double in the intimate setting of the Atlantic Theater.
"Doing this play in an outdoor venue such as the park was scary enough for the audience," says Licari "but transferring it to this intimate space will allow us to take the show and the audience to a completely different level of suspense."

"We have long had a working relationship with the Atlantic Theater," says Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival Executive Producer Kermit Christman. "We are thrilled to expand that partnership with one of the Festival's most Popular Productions. The Atlantic Theater is the perfect setting for this show."

The Woman in Black tells the story of "Kipps" (played by Licari), a London solicitor who hires "the Actor" (played by Patrick Wilkinson), to help him exorcise a ghostly event from his past. The Players re-enact the ghastly events of "Kipps'" past in this play-within-a-play and uncover a tragic history, ending in a chilling twist.

Come see what The Daily Telegraph calls "...one of the most brilliantly effective spine-chillers you will ever encounter," and "Prepare to be haunted by one of the best horror stories you will ever see on stage." (Hello Magazine).

Tickets are $20 per person with special $5 discounts for all patrons arriving in a creepy costume. The Atlantic Theater is located at 6743 West Indiantown Road in Jupiter. Visit www.theatlantictheater.com for tickets and information or call the box office at 561-575-4942.
