Join the Studio@620 as they explore the humanity, or lack thereof, in all of us with the world premieres of PSALM OF BERNADETTE OR SLOTH and BEDBUGS OR WRATH, the second installment of the Stephen Riordan's seven part play series, SEVEN DEADLY PLAYS. Performances are Jan. 5-15. Tickets can be purchased at 727-895-6620 or studio620.org.

PSALM OF BERNADETTE OR SLOTH explores how dogmatic religious beliefs interfere with Matthew, an overworked junior partner at a start-up law firm, whose most recent case has him questioning the power of his convictions and the strength of his character. Awaiting a mysterious visitor in his small apartment, Matthew faces his faith, his future and his resolve as he and his slacker roommate try and come to terms with the consequences of letting go of what they thought they wanted.

PSALM OF BERNADETTE OR SLOTH is directed by Robert Irwin Davidson and stars Gerald Ramsberger, Jeffrey Klein and Dana Kovar.

In BEDBUGS OR WRATH, Walter, who is a broken man dealing with the death of his family, brings home a hustler named Paul Revere. Paul, who is also a damaged soul, pegs Walter as an easy mark. Things turn more dangerous as the night gets darker and Walter's anger continues to grow.

BEDBUGS OR WRATH is directed by Stephen Riordan and stars Norman Naudain, Caroline Jett, Andrew Deeb and Chase Adin.

"It's been seven months since our inaugural installment of Stephen Riordan's GREED and ENVY, and the Studio @ 620 is proud to continue our journey of exploration through the themes, stories and myths of the seven deadly sins," said Bob Devin Jones, the Studio@620's producing director. "Please join us for the presentation of our next two sinful stories, SLOTH and WRATH, for six performances only!"

Please note that THE SEVEN DEADLY PLAYS are intended for mature audiences only. They contain adult themes and language.
