ON STAGE AT NEW THEATRE - The Mission

Within the confines of a penitentiary a trusting Christian priest is drawn closer to the heart of darkness of a prisoner; the results are a double tragedy. The Mission by Jules Tasca is a tempestuous two-character play where secrets and gender can drive the human condition to make life altering decisions.

New Theatre Artistic Director, Ricky J. Martinez will direct the cast which includes Ricky Waugh, who performed in New Theatre's Summer Shakespeare & Friends Festival as part of the apprentice program, and making his New Theatre debut, William Gressman.   In what will be a fun twist and theatrical feat, the actors will exchange roles every other night displaying their talent and versatility.

Returning to New Theatre will be Production Stage Manager Betsy Paull-Rick, Sound Designer Micheal Foster, and the scenic construction crew, Geordan Gottlieb & TLC Events Group. Scenic Designer Nicole Quintana will be making her New Theatre debut.
