"The 7th Annual Festival of the Arts Boca will once again bring 10 days of culture, world-class talent, and 'awe' to South Florida," said Charlie Siemon co-founder of the event. "Sights, sounds and seething with intellect, this Festival has it all."

Highlights of the 7th Annual Festival of the Arts Boca include performances by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band; Kodo, a troupe of legendary Japanese taiko drummers; avant-pop classical violinist Amadeus Leopold; the Peking Acrobats, Cameron Carpenter, the first organist ever nominated for a Grammy Award for a solo album; Valentina Lisitsa, one of the most sought-after classical pianists on the Web, performing with the New World Symphony, America's Orchestral Academy and Peter Oundjian, conductor; and Audra McDonald, one of the most highly regarded performers of our time with five Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, and a long list of other accolades to her name.

"This year's line-up of guest artists promises to delight and surprise our community," said Constantine Kitsopoulos, Festival Music Director. "I'm so looking forward to working with Audra McDonald, whom I had the pleasure of recently working with on Broadway; Amadeus Leopold; Cameron Carpenter; and the Boca Raton Symphonia to bring our audiences a new kind of performance experience that I know will open their eyes and ears like never before."

The Authors & Ideas program will include appearances by Patricia Engel, author of Vida, The New York Times' Most Notable Book of the Year; Thomas Keneally, best known in the U.S. for his novel Schindler's Ark (the basis for the Academy Award Winning Movie Schindler's List); Harvard professor Michael Sandel, author of Justice: What's the Right Thing To Do?; and General George W.
