Riverside Theatricals & The Lyric Theatre present The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley on Tuesday, December 27th at 7pm.

Now, one of the most beloved children's books of all time has become a musical! The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley is based on the best-selling book series by JefF Brown. Written by Timothy Allen McDonald, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley follows the story of an average 10 year old kid who suddenly wakes up to find out he's completely flat! Sing along to the show's infectious songs as Stanley travels the world searching for a solution to his problem. A perfect way to introduce young audiences to live musical theatre, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley is a night of singing, fun, and non-stop adventure.

In 1964, author JefF Brown and illustrator Tomi Ungerer introduced the world to Stanley Lambchop, a seemingly average boy who dreams of big adventures. When one night he's squished by a bulletin board, young Stanley wakes up completely flat. Since the original publication, the stories have been expanded by a number of authors, as Stanley embarks on new adventures in new places. The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley brings Stanley around the globe, from Hollywood to Honolulu. The musical is written by Timothy Allen McDonald, an award-winning playwright whose previous works include the musical renditions of Willy Wonka and James and the Giant Peach. This season at The Lyric, see the world of Flat Stanley comes to life as Stanley embarks on adventures from stopping a robbery at the Louvre to surfing the waves in Hawaii.
