"All interests in the Florida Keys and the Florida peninsula should closely monitor the progress of extremely dangerous Hurricane Wilma," the National Hurricane Center in Miami said.

As of now, all of us in Florida, certainly in South Florida, should be checking our hurricane preparedness--and monitoring this storm system very closely.  It looks like Hurricane Wilma will hit Florida by Monday afternoon. 

Ticket holders be aware!  It is likely that All performances on Sunday and Monday in South Florida will cancel.   VERIFY that the performace you are planning to attend is indeed still taking place.  Simply telephone the venue or you can often find the information online.  Most important, keep you and yours safe. 

Due to the approach of Hurricane Wilma and the declared state of emergency in Broward County, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Parker Playhouse will be closed Sunday, October 23. All performances on Sunday, October 23 have been cancelled. To exchange or request a refund for your tickets, please contact your point of purchase. Until further information is available, performances will resume on Monday, October 24.
