The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announces that subscriptions are now on sale for the 2016/2017 Regional Arts MUSIC "At Eight" and MUSIC "At Two" Concert Series. The classical music anchor of the Kravis Center's 25th anniversary season, the coming series will feature an incredible roster of world-class orchestras and performing artists, and is again being sponsored by Leonard and Sophie Davis.

"On an annual basis, the Kravis Center presents more national and international orchestras in the state; and our 2016/2017 Regional Arts season will be presenting another stellar line-up of some of the most distinguished names in the world of classical music: pianist Lang Lang; conductors Leonard Slatkin, Stéphane Denève, and Yuri Temirkanov; violinists Sarah Chang, Ray Chen, and Nicola Benedetti; the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, and the world's top orchestras including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Orchestre National de Lyon, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Prague Philharmonia, and so much more," said Lee Bell, Senior Director of Programming at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

All Regional Arts Series concerts will be held in the Kravis Center's Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall. In addition, Regional Arts concerts will feature a Beyond the Stage lecture by Sharon McDaniel at 6:45 pm for MUSIC "At Eight" concerts and 12:45 p.m. for MUSIC "At Two." The Regional Arts Programming Associate and a long-time classical music journalist, McDaniel will provide background information about the concert and discuss elements of interest to all audience members, from music novices to experts.
