The creator and star of the award-winning Broadway hit "My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm in Therapy" returns with an evening of stand-up comedy guaranteed to leave you in stitches.
Before he created one of the longest running one-man shows in history, Steve Solomon honed his comedic skills doing stand-up. He's looking forward to going back to where it all began in his performance at the Lyric: "I'm doing what I love, one-on-one with the audience," says Solomon. "It's an unstructured evening of hilarity."
Solomon is renowned for creating dozens of voices, sound effects and unbelievably funny characters that'll have you rolling in the aisles. WOR News Talk Radio says, "Steve Solomon is Alan King, Billy Crystal, a smidgen of Don Rickles and George Carlin all thrown in." The Sun-Sentinel calls him "one of the best stand-ups working today."
Solomon will feature some of his most popular "personalities" in this performance, along with hysterical new material and plenty of surprises. In this unscripted evening with a true king of comedy, who can predict what's in store?
