presents
Misery
by Stephen King
adapted for the stage by Simon Moore
With Lisa Morgan and Stephen G. Anthony
directed by Joseph Adler
Opening Night: Saturday, August 6th at 8 pm
Running thru September 4th

This stunning adaptation of the Stephen King classic which premiered
in London, has all the tension of the international best- selling
novel published in 1987 (the motion picture version was released 15
years ago). An intense roller coaster ride into the darkness of
obsession, it is guaranteed to keep the audience on the edge of
their seats to the final curtain.

After an automobile accident, novelist Paul Sheldon meets his
biggest fan.  She is his nurse-- and his captor.  Now, she wants
Paul to write his greatest work—just for her.  She has lots of ways
to spur him on. And if they don't work, she can get really nasty.

"The suspense becomes intolerable!  To make an audience gasp and
laugh at the same instant is quite an achievement…this is a
compelling cruel thriller!" -- London Daily Telegraph

"It makes seat optional.  The audience spent the evening on the edge
of theirs!"  -- London Daily Express

"A theatrical shock-horror comedie noire!" – London Daily Mail

(Mature Audiences Only)
