There will be a Play Reading at GableStage at the Biltmore of Standing At The Gates of Janus by Florida playwright Tony Finstrom on Monday, August 27th at 7:30 PM.

The play takes place during the winter of 1971 at an Army base in Texas. The newspaper office at the post is filled with soldiers who are coping with the possibility of being sent overseas, into action, any day--when a film star arrives suddenly to protest the war.

The reading will be directed by Stuart Meltzer, with the following actors participating: Nicholas Duckhardt, Matthew Glass, David Hemphill, Seaun McKinney, Johnny Mineo, James Randolph and Dusty St. Amand

Admission is free, no reservations required. The play contains strong language, and the performance will be followed by a talkback with the playwright, director & actors.

GableStage is located in the eastern section of the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Avenue, Coral Gables. Valet parking is available. Free parking is available in the Biltmore parking area west of the hotel. For more information call the GableStage at 305-445-1119.
