During The Broadway Artists Intensive College Prep at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, high school juniors and seniors dreaming of attending college for theater arts will have the opportunity to work with elite college faculty on such skills as vocal auditioning and song selection, monologue performance and repertoire, and dance call auditioning and practice, helping them land coveted spots in college theater programs.

"We are excited to be in our second year of this program in partnership with the Kravis Center, bringing such high-caliber college faculty from elite Musical Theatre programs to work with our students," said Jackie Bayne Gillman, co-founder of The Broadway Artists Intensive. "The faculty is coming from across the country to provide crucial feedback to the students, who will be able to refine and polish their material and practice valuable audition skills. The faculty will also share critical insight to the college admissions process."

Faculty will include Claudia Benack, Associate Teaching Professor of Voice, Carnegie Mellon University; David H. Bell, Director of Musical Theatre, Northwestern University; Kevin Covert, Director of Musical Theatre and Assistant Professor of Theatre, Shenandoah University; Ron DeJesús, Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre, University of Michigan; Kaitlin Hopkins, Head of Musical Theatre, Texas State University; Brian Kremer, Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre, Elon University and Sean McKnight, Professor of Musical Theatre, Pace University.

Parents of students attending The Broadway Artists Intensive College Prep will be able to attend a panel discussion with these prestigious faculty. The discussion will cover crucial information about each university represented, as well as tips on college admissions, including applications, pre-screening auditions and audition wardrobe.

Tuition for the three-day workshop is $575. No pre-audition is necessary. To register, call (855) 554-2929 or visit www.thebroadwayartistsintensive.com.
