Seaside Music Theater sets the summer season in motion with the romantic and timeless, stage classic, South Pacific (June 7-24). South Pacific was among Rodgers and Hammerstein's most successful and critically acclaimed shows, winning nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This lively masterpiece, which combines conflicts of war with those of the heart, includes some of theater's best songs: "Some Enchanted Evening," "There is Nothing Like a Dame," "I'm in Love With a Wonderful Guy," "Younger Than Springtime," and "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair," to name only a few!

The lights may be bright on Broadway, but no town sparkles like Hollywood! The brand new musical, Silver Screen Serenade (June 14 – July 8), brings the two together in an explosive onstage revue of some of the silver screen's most memorable music. Celebrate tinsel town with over 40 songs from America's big screen classics, from "Puttin' on the Ritz," "As Time Goes By," "The Trolley Song," and "Moon River" to "Blue Suede Shoes," "The Look of Love," "Up Where We Belong" and everything in between!

Behind every great man stands a great woman, or in the case of filmmaker Guido Contini, MANY great women (21 to be exact!) In Nine (July 5-22), the bold and sexy Tony Award-winning Best Musical, you'll meet all of them. Guido, played by SMT favorite Michael Shawn Lewis, is in a state of artistic paralysis. In an effort to unblock his creativity and end his mid-life crisis, he explores his past and looks for the true meaning of "amore." Nine has had two successful Broadway runs and attracted such legendary talent as Raul Julia, Antonio Banderas, Chita Rivera, and Liliane Montevecchi. The New York Times called Nine "a galloping fantasy with a ravishingly inventive and tuneful score." Gorgeous music and gorgeous women surround you for an arousing evening of entertainment!

Every couple has a story. Snapshots (July 26 – August 19), a new Steven Schwartz, musical, tells the story of Sue and Dan, who after decades of marriage, relive their life together through years of photos. Ultimately, they must decide whether they've taken their final snapshots together. Follow their life together from hopeful teenagers to ambivalent twenty-somethings to empty-nesters, contemplating a future apart and the possibilities that lie beyond. In Snapshots, audiences will be treated to both familiar and never-before heard Schwartz songs, including the song "Making Good," which was originally intended for the Broadway sensation Wicked.

Last summer, Seaside Music Theater made it rain on stage. This year, we are taking our audiences on a fun-filled awe-inspiring trip to Neverland in Peter Pan (August 2-19). You're never too old to visit Neverland! "Peter Pan reverses the aging process, transforming adults into kids who laugh, cry and, when the time comes, clap like crazy to save poor Tinkerbell," raved the Los Angeles Times. Journey with Peter, Wendy, John, Michael, and Tinkerbell for an exciting special effects-filled adventure that includes sword-fighting, crocodile encounters, and amazing rescues. "I'm Flying! Flying! Flying!" – and rest assured, they will, all around the theater in this beloved classic for all ages.

Go, Dog. Go! (May 26 – August 17), the hilarious musical based on the treasured children's book by P.D. Eastman, will have the tiniest of toddlers and the biggest kids (including you) enchanted. Just like the book, canines of all shapes, sizes, and colors will drive, scoot, swim, and play, in, out, up, down and all around the theater! "With verve to spare, Go, Dog. Go! has all the bouncy joy of a new puppy," said the Orlando Sentinel.
