City Theatre and Island City Stage are proud to present SHORTS GONE WILD 6 performing August 2 - 26, 2018 at Island City Stage in Wilton Manors. This all-new production marks the 6th season of South Florida's hottest LGBT-themed short play festival.
SHORTS GONE WILD 6, co-presented by City Theatre and Island City Stage, under the direction of City Theatre Artistic Director Margaret M. Ledford and Island City Stage Artistic Director Andy Rogow, has quickly become a mid-summer theatrical tradition. The popular celebration whips seven short plays by six fabulous playwrights, five talented directors and five versatile actors, and a team of skillful designers into a provocative, funny, surprising, and thoroughly entertaining production.
This season's SHORTS GONE WILD 6 offers a brand spanking new line-up of original ten-minute plays by local and national playwrights, whose scripts span the rainbow - including hilarious comedy, poignant romance and naughty satire. A talented acting ensemble of South Florida's best actors effortlessly perform multiple roles throughout the production. SHORTS GONE WILD will tickle its LGBTQ and Progressive communities, but everyone is invited to come out and enjoy performances of relatable, irreverent, appealing and relevant always amusing, SHORTS GONE WILD.
