Due to popular demand, Riverside Theatre has added performances to two of this season's most acclaimed shows. One performance has been added to Funny Girl's scheduled run and one week of performances has been to the scheduled run of LES MISERABLES.

Following enthusiastic critical and audience apporbation for Funny Girl, a Tuesday evening performance on January 22nd at 7:30pm has been added.

"With performances selling out and the dearth of premium seating, we were able to add an additional performance," says Jon Moses, Managing Director of the theatre. "Unfortunately, the show is still scheduled to close on the originally announced date of Sunday, January 27th as an added week of Funny Girl is not possible since our the next production, LES MISERABLES, is scheduled to open a few weeks later."

Funny Girl stars Courtney Balan as Fanny Brice, James Sasser and Nick Arnstein, Ron Wisniski as Florez Zeigfeld, Susan Cella as Mrs. Brice, Brian Ogilvie as Eddie Ryan, Jane Strauss as Mrs. Strakosh, Richard Vida as Tom Keeney and Jaime Hartmann as Emma.

Sales for LES MISERABLES have been so strong, an extra week of performances have been added. Originally scheduled to close on Sunday, March 10th, LES MISERABLES will now close on Sunday, March 17th. Performances the week of March 11th through 17th follow regular show performance schedule: Wednesday through Saturday evenings with matinees on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

LES MISERABLES stars David Michael Felty as Jean Valjean, Todd Alan Johnson as Javert, Bruce Landry as Marius, Sarah Stevens as Cosette, Andrea Goss as Eponine, and Traci Blair as Fantine. The remaining cast will be announced shortly.

Tickets to Funny Girl and LES MISERABLES can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 772-231-6990 or online at www.riversidetheatre.com.
