Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, today announced that there would be a special preview performance of HAIR on May 19 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach. This preview will benefit Adam Hewko, the 28-year-old North Palm Beach resident who suffered a serious brain injury in a car accident last year and needs long-term medical care and physical therapy.
According to the fundraising web page at www.youcaring.com/adam-hewko-414068, Adam has "participated in intense therapies in order to regain the ability to do the most elementary tasks such as trying to speak, eat and stand... However, he is severely restricted on what he can do at this time."
"Our whole family has been humbled by the outpouring of support that Adam has received so far, certainly the love from the community has never stopped," says Eric Hewko, Adam's father. "All funds raised at this performance of HAIR will go to help cover medical expenses."
General admission tickets for the May 19 preview performance of HAIR are only $75 each, and are now available for purchase at the Kravis Center box office, 701 Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach; by phone at 561.832.7469; or online through the Kravis Center's official website at kravis.org. (Note: Tickets to the Adam Hewko benefit performance of HAIR are not tax deductible.)
