Mad Cow Theatre announces Freud's Last Session, playing March 11 through April 3, 2011 in its intimate Stage Right.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION centers on legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites the young, rising academic star C.S. Lewis to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be called on the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book, soon realizes Freud has a much more significant agenda.

On the day England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash on the existence of God, the joy of love, the purpose of sex, and the meaning of life - just a few weeks before Freud's own death. Not just a powerful debate, this is a profound and deeply touching play about two men who boldly addressed the greatest questions of all time.

Freud's Last Session caused a sensation during last year's New York summer theater season, and is still playing off-Broadway. Now, this "brilliant, mind-bending play" comes to Mad Cow Theatre, giving you the opportunity to experience the latest in Contemporary Theatre right in Downtown Orlando.

Rick Stanley returns to Mad Cow Theatre to direct Freud's Last Session. Steven Lane (The Heiress, Lion in Winter) will be performing as C.S. Lewis with newcomer Terry Wells as Freud.

Circle Mirror Transformation, playing March 18 through April 17, 2011 in it's intimate Stage Left.

Acclaimed as the debut of the year by one of the most exciting new writers in the country, Circle Mirror Transformation is a touching new comedy about the most unlikely of stories. Five citizens of a rural town begin a community acting class, each with their own expectations, but soon learn more about each other and themselves than they bargained for. Hailed as one of the most insightful and original new works of the year, Mad Cow Theatre is proud to present this poignant new play that explores the transforming powers of creativity.

Michael Marinaccio (The Heiress, Love Song) will direct Circle Mirror Transformation. The cast includes Marty Stonerock (Superior Donuts, The Seagull), Mark EdWard Smith (The Heiress, An Inspector Calls), Jay T. Becker (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Fully Committed), Rebekah Lane (Company, Sweeney Todd), and Jolie Hart (My Illustrious Wasteland with Beth Marshall Presents).
