Colleen Smith, Founder and Artistic Director of Ballet Palm Beach, welcomed 130 of the nonprofit organization's patrons, leaders and dancers at Dance Revealed, a cocktail fundraiser that was held on January 31 at the new Fritz Gallery in Palm Beach.

Theodora Aspegren, Robert Bailey and Chase Thomas co-chaired the lovely party that included crowd-pleasing performances by Ballet Palm Beach dancers Lily Ojea Loveland and Aaron Melendrez, andMadeleine Miller and Aurelio Guimaraes. The event netted $50,000 to support main stage productions and community outreach programs for children and their families.

"It was a delight to welcome so many new supporters and introduce them to our extraordinarily talented dancers, said Smith.

"We are proud to partner with Ballet Palm Beach, the professional ballet company of Palm Beach County," affirmed Karl Ruppert, Market Head of UBS Florida Private Wealth Management. "At UBS, we believe that the performing arts as well as contemporary art offers pleasure, passion, the thrill of a new perspective and ultimately the chance to leave a legacy that goes beyond money."

In addition to the live performances, Steve Caras, former New York City Ballet dancer and renowned photographer, gave insightful remarks about Ballet Palm Beach's history and progression into a professional company of extraordinary dancers.

A fun highlight of Dance Revealed was the spirited auction that included the opportunity to accompany Ballet Palm Beach's artistic director and dancers on an upcoming outreach trip to Cuba, or have a walk-on part in the company's much-loved production of The Nutcracker next December.
