* New Don & Ann Brown Theatre! *

West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, launches its 12th Anniversary season with Arthur Miller's acclaimed play "All My Sons" on Saturday, November 12th (8PM) at their brand new Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). The production will play through December 11th.

Also, known for his plays Death of a Salesman and The Crucible, All My Sons was Miller's first commercial success and is considered his "breakthrough" play. Set in the backyard of the Keller home in 1947, this morality play about the cost of lying and the price of truth-telling examines a troubled family and a father who placed duty to his family above the lives of others.

Dramaworks' Resident Director, J. Barry Lewis will direct the production featuring Kenneth Tigar, Beth Dimon, Jim Ballard, Kersti Bryan, Cliff Burgess, Nanique Gheridian, Ken Kay, Dave Hyland, Margery Lowe, Kaden Cohen and Leandre Thivierge. The play will feature scenery designed by Michael Amico, costumes designed by Brian O'Keefe, lights designed by John Hall and sound designed by Richard Szczublewski.

Manhattan born Arthur Miller is one of the most highly esteemed American Playwrights. He is recognized for his insight and keen perception into the tribulations of the American working class. His play Death of a Salesman won Miller the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1949. Miller's other best known works include The Man Who Had All The Luck, A View From the Bridge, and After The Fall.

The season will continue with a distinguished roster of plays including "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds" by Paul Zindel (January 6 - January 29), "The Pitmen Painters" by Lee Hall (February 17 - March 11), "'Master Harold'...and the boys" by Athol Fugard (April 6 - April 29) and "Proof" by David Auburn (May 25 - June 17).

Palm Beach Dramaworks is a non-profit, professional theatre and is a member of the Theatre Communications Group, the South Florida Theatre League, Southeastern Theatre Conference, Florida Professional Theatres Association, Florida Theatre Conference, and the Palm Beach County Cultural Council.

The performance schedule is as follows: Evening performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 8PM; Sunday at 7PM; Matinee performances are on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2PM.
