ORLANDO SHAKESPEARE THEATER AND PB&J THEATRE FACTORY TEAM UP FOR "SLEIGH"

Playing December 1 -18, 2011 in the Mandell Theater at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF (OST) and PB&J Theatre Factory present the funny and heart-warming original comedy, SLEIGH, playing December 1-18, 2011 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 East Rollins Street). This time, the team that brought Central Florida audiences SPORT, SNACK, SPLASH and SHHH! has packed the entire holiday season into one entertaining evening.

It's lovely weather for a SLEIGH ride together, so bundle up the family and hurry over the river and through the woods to laugh your way through the holidays. A young couple spends their first Christmas together, tackling holiday traditions with very different expectations. Meanwhile, a pair of shopkeepers redefines "rivalry" as they coax customers away from their competitor. Finally, three determined mail carriers fight the elements, a poorly addressed letter and each other to make a delivery. SLEIGH is considered a family show and is suitable for most audiences, ages 5 and up.

PB&J Theatre Factory has assembled a cast of Orlando audience favorites, including Becky Eck, Ana Eligio, BranDon Roberts, Josh Sinisalco and Terrence Yip. Directed by BranDon Roberts and the PB&J gang, the creative team includes Zanna King (Lighting Designer), Michael Gill (Sound Designer), Jamie Mykins (Stage Manager), Claud Smith (Scenic Designer) and Denise R. Warner (Costume Coordinator).

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is supported by United Arts of Central Florida with funds from the United Arts campaign and by State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council
