(Joey Panek Stars in THE SANTALAND DIARIES)

SantaLand is coming to town!

New American Theater brings you The SantaLand Diaries, written by David Sedaris, one of NPR and late night TV's favorite satirists. The show is based on the outlandish, and true, chronicles of Sedaris' experience as Crumpet the Elf in Macy's SantaLand display. This funny cult classic features comic encounters during the height of the holiday crunch.

Their Little Macy's elf, played by Joey Panek (AEA), knows a thing or two about faking the Yuletide spirit. But you won't be faking a good time when your sides split as this comedy tells the real-life story of Crumpet the Elf, and what it takes to juggle tots and tottering Santas during a painfully festive time of the year.

You'll see what's lurking beneath the fake snow and teddy bears- rivalry, intrigue, romance, a magic tree, and something called the "vomit corner".  A laugh 'til you cry evening of merrily subversive entertainment.

The show runs December 8-18, 2011. Performances are Thursdays @ 7:30p, Friday & Saturday @ 10pm, and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are only $15! With only 8 performances you'll want to get your tickets today.
