Mystery on the Menu theatrical group will present five different short plays during the Murder Mystery Festival tonight, July 23rd, 2014 at Empire Stage in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. The group is based in Ft. Lauderdale with producer Barbara Fox.

One of the short plays to be featured is "All that Glitters" written by south Florida's Award Winning Playwright Cynthia Morrison. Morrison, of West Palm Beach, is a graduate of the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre and her play is one of the top five chosen to be presented. The play's setting is a cruise ship and involves a group of friends that have decided to vacation together. Further detail places the surviving members as suspects. Last year she traveled to Washington D.C. where her play "Peppered Precinct" won second prize and was presented at the Wolly Mammoth Theatre only blocks from the White House. "I am looking forward to attending the presentation of my work on my very own stomping grounds" she happily shared.
