Mad Cat Theatre to Stage Theo Reyna's LAZY FAIR, 8/20-9/6

Mad Cat is closing its 15th season with a world premiere written and directed by company member Theo Reyna.

Money! Money! Money! Now and forever! But what if it were possible to take too much? What would happen to those who dared? Might it fulfill them? Consume them? Drive them to ruin? Lazy Fair unravels the mystery of a heist unlike any other. A simple burglary turns mythic when money turns out be a lot more trouble than expected.

The play features Mad Cat company member Ken Clement, Meredith Bartmon and Andy Quiroga. Sound will be designed by Mad Cat company member Matt Corey, Lights by Mad Cat company member Melissa Santiago Keenan and costume and set design by Mad Cat's founder Paul Tei.

General admission tickets on are on sale now and only $25 per ticket plus applicable service fees. Performances are from August 20th to September 6th, Thursday thru Sunday at 8:00 pm.

Opening night is Saturday August 22 and festivities start at 7:00 pm, with the performance starting at 8:00 pm. Tickets for opening night are $50 per ticket plus applicable service fees. Opening night includes drinks, light fare and the performance.

Led by our Founder and Artistic Director Stephanie Ansin, the team at Miami Theater Center creates and produces inspiring and thought-provoking productions that bring the transformational power of theater to audiences of all ages and abilities.
