The Middle School for the Arts Foundation has announced the appointment of Susy Diaz as the new Executive Director for the organization. Ms. Diaz, a native of West Palm Beach, brings years of experience in the non-profit and governmental business sectors to the MSOA Foundation, as well as a passion for the arts.

Having worked as an Assistant for the Mayor under two administrations, as well as Associate Director for the American Cancer Society, Ms. Diaz has established strong relationships within our community. Most recently, she worked as a Destination Management and Event Production Consultant coordinating high end luxury events in Atlantis, Paradise Island. She holds a MA in Political Science from FAU University, as well as a certification in Ethnic Studies. In her spare time, Ms. Diaz serves on the Hispanic Human Resources Council Board of Directors, and volunteers for the Lake Worth Playhouse, for whom she chaired a gala last month featuring legendary stage and screen actor Burt Reynolds.

When asked about the appointment, Fran Mantyh, Board Chair stated, "We are thrilled to have Susy as our new Executive Director. Her creativity and resourcefulness, coupled with her strong roots in this community will bring about a greater awareness for the Middle School of the Arts Foundation and its' mission, helping us reach new heights."
