MNM Productions today announced the talented and experienced cast for the upcoming production of the award-winning musical SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, which will run for 10 performances July 30 through August 9 at the Crest Theatre in Delray Beach, and for five performances August 13-16 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach.
The musical tribute to legendary Broadway composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim is being produced by MNM's co-founders Marcie Gorman and Michael Lifshitz, with Bruce Linser serving as director and Paul Reekie as musical director. The four-star cast includes:
Shelly Keelor was nominated for a Carbonell Award in 2014 as "Best Supporting Actress" for her role as Margaret White in Carrie, a Slow Burn Theatre production. She will appear at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Slow Burn Theatre's 2016 season as Pauline Fleming in, Heathers: The Musical. Additionally, you can catch her at BCPA in 2016 in Outré Theatre's concert production of, Goblin Market playing the role of Lizzie.? Ms. Keelor has been touring with counter tenor, Terry Barber in the concert, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. As an international performer, she has appeared in over a dozen countries as a soloist, including touring with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra in Broadway Nights. She also tours her one-woman show throughout South Florida.
Wayne LeGette is a two-time Carbonell Award winner, seven-time nominee, and BroadwayWorld LA Award nominee. He is currently starring in Casa Valentina at GableStage and next year will appear at the Maltz in Frost/Nixon. Previous Sondheim roles include George in Sunday in the Park With George, The Baker in Into the Woods, Buddy in Follies (Caldwell), Harry in Company (PB Dramaworks), Narrator in Into the Woods (Dream Catcher/Arsht), Paul in Company (Caldwell), and his own cabaret show creation Being Alive: The Music of Stephen Sondheim. Alix Paige most recently starred as "Aldonza" in The Wick Theatre's Man of La Mancha. She has also appeared in Swing! Her National Tours include Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Ginger in Irving Berlin's I Love a Piano, and her NYC/Regional productions include Parade, The 25th Annual...Spelling Bee, Bat Boy, Man of La Mancha, My Fair Lady and Guys & Dolls.
