The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County is inviting the public to two major events this month:

Tuesday, October 17 in Delray Beach

WHY COURTS MATTER

'You Be the Judge: Reproductive Rights'

Dr. Linda Geller-Schwartz, Florida Advocacy Chair for the National Council of Jewish Women, and Marci Ball Elordi, J.D., will lead this interactive activity designed to increase understanding of court and judicial decision-making. It will be held from 6 to 8 pm at the Delray City Library, 100 West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. The cost to attend is only $10 and includes a light supper. Saturday, October 29 in Lake Worth

ALL THAT JAZZ

With Pianist Copeland Davis

The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County will host the annual fundraising luncheon from 1 to 3 pm at the Atlantis Country Club, 190 Atlantis Blvd. in Lake Worth. Entertainment will be provided by jazz pianist Copeland Davis, who earned a standing ovation when he made his debut on the Tonight Show, hosted an Emmy Award-winning special on PBS and was inducted into The International Who's Who in Music and The Las Vegas Entertainers Hall Of Fame in 2014. Tickets are $45 per person. The luncheon promises great conversation, good food, fantastic music and even a fun raffle of luxury gift bags.
