Playhouse Presents Palm Beach International Film Festival Screenings Plus Discounted Festival Passes
The Lake Worth Playhouse is one of a handful of Palm Beach County theatres hosting the 2010 Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF). The festival runs from April 22 - 26, 2010 and features full-length, short and documentary films from the U.S. and around the world. This is the second consecutive year the Lake Worth Playhouse is participating as a host venue for PBIFF screenings, which will be presented in the Stonzek Studio Theatre.
This year, as a special offering to the community, The Playhouse is selling discounted passes to festival movies and events. Regular pricing ranges from $25 for the "Student Pass" to $500 for the "Platinum Pass," which includes unlimited admission to all films, parties and events. The Playhouse is offering these passes at reduced rates of 20% off for Playhouse Patrons and 25% off for Film Society Members.
"We wanted to make these fantastic Film Festival offerings even more affordable to the community," said Stonzek Studio Manager, Tracy Holstein. "As a neighborhood theatre, we're able to go that extra mile for our valued customers by offering reduced rates and that friendly one-on-one hometown treatment that keeps our patrons coming back again and again!"
PBIFF festival passes can be purchased by calling the Lake Worth Playhouse box office at 561-586-6410 or by leaving a voice mail message at 561-296-9382. Tickets to daily movie screenings can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com/producer/3838

Live performances from La Scala Opera House, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Salzburg Festival and other renowned international venues are recorded in hi-def and presented on The Stonzek's extra-large screen, allowing patrons to view these internationally acclaimed performances right in their own neighborhood.
The Lake Worth Playhouse Cinema is located at 709 Lake Avenue in Downtown Lake Worth. It is situated on the south side of Lake Avenue two blocks east of Dixie Highway. Free, well-lit parking is available on Lake Avenue and surrounding side streets with free parking lots located behind The Playhouse.
