Regional Arts Concert Series 2010/2011 Season Opens

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has announced that the 2010/2011 Regional Arts MUSIC "At Eight" and MUSIC "At Two" Concert Series, will open on November 16-17 with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.
"The 2010/2011 season is very strong with seven symphony orchestras including Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the New World Symphony conducted by Sir Neville Marriner," said Lee Bell, Senior Director of Programming at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
Sponsored by Leonard and Sophie Davis, all Regional Arts Series concerts will be held in the Kravis Center's Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall.
All Regional Arts concerts will feature a "Beyond the Stage" lecture by Sharon McDaniel an hour and 15 minutes before concert time. The classical music journalist will provide background information about the concert and discuss elements of interest to all audience members, from music novices to experts.
