Kravis Center Presents TEN GRANDS On February 18 ImageIn a lavish and breathtaking display, Ten Grands boasts ten grand pianos on stage at the same time. Several arrangements showcase all ten pianos playing together, and each of the artists performs a solo as well. This exceptional evening also includes a medley from Phantom of the Opera featuring the Kravis Center's George W. Mergens Memorial Organ. The one-night-only event takes place at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, February 18 at 8 pm.

Classical, Jazz, New Age, and Pop Contemporary, arranged by brilliant composer and musician Michael Allen Harrison, Ten Grands has thrilled audiences in sold out concert halls since 2001. As each piano sounds a different tone, so do the performers playing them. Local and world-wide talents will take the stage amidst 1500 long-stemmed roses during Ten Grands. From Andrew Gu, the 10-year-old prodigy to blind pianist Mac Potts who began performing at age 2, and met his fellow performer and now wife, Hailey during Ten Grands - each sounding note tells the story of the power of music to unite people together across all barriers.

Adding to the evening, local philanthropist Kathi McCord Kretzer-Sayler will be recognized in the "Community Spotlight" of the show performing "All American Hometown Band" with 17 exceptional local pianists including: Robin Arrigo, Ruo Huang-Balko, Sandra Baran, Steve Behrens, Sean Beirnes, Shawn Berry, David Crohan, Susan Dahlberg, Copeland Hurley Davis, Jan Fulford,, Suzanne Hardin Jarvis, Cindy Kessler, Laurie Blomberg McDonald, Betsy Mchugh, Robin Phillips, Robert Sharon and Rich Switzer in a virtual piano orchestra.
