The concert will feature Epple on a number of different flutes - flutes from around the world, including Celtic, Native American, African, Suling, and bass flute. Epple will be joined by special guest musicians and performers, including Chuck Grinnell on keyboard, DL Turner on the harp, Darrell Nutt on percussion, Shirley Lorene on guitar and vocals, Pond Water Experiment, Ray Nesbit, Lawrence Voytek, Nicole Long and a few other surprise guest performers. The original music includes a variety of musical styles and moods, as it travels musically from the sultry jungles of Africa, to a cool Celtic stream.
The annual event is a benefit for the Florida Repertory Theatre, now in its eleventh season of bringing live professional theatre to Southwest Florida.Admission is $20, and Epple's concert, Mist, Myth and Mystery, is a one-night-only event on Monday, January 19th.
