"Just The Funny's going Back to School!"

Summer's over, and school is back in session, which means South Florida students will go from tanning… to cramming!  For collegiates, it's back to student loans, registration, long lines, and figuring out their "major".  High Schoolers have it even worse; the FCAT, cliques, cafeteria food… it's enough to drive anyone crazy!  Well, JUST THE FUNNY, Miami's Home for Improv and Sketch Comedy feels your pain, and that's why they're presenting Just The Funny's School Survival Guide!, Saturday, September 8^th, 2007, 9:00 pm, at Miami's Museum of Science (where I-95 meets US-1). 

Every month, Just The Funny's band of comedic actors presents three high energy interactive shows featuring sketches, parodies, music, and improvised scenes based on AUDIENCE SUGGESTIONS!  It's like Whose Line is it Anyway meets Saturday Night Live.  Coming to the show?  Contribute even MORE by bringing unusual objects for them to use on stage! 

Just The Funny's School Survival Guide! takes their live comedy show even further by mixing in sketches and parodies to show students how to get through the next nine-months.  Troupe member Carlos Rivera comments "We wanted to help current students avoid making the same mistakes we made, like dropping out and becoming mimes… you know, the same old story."  Co-member David Christopher adds… [pulling on imaginary rope while walking against fake wind]  "Whether you're a student who falls asleep in class, or an alum who dodges collections calls about your student loans, join Miami's most celebrated improv troupe as we present Just The Funny's School Survival Guide!"
