Lynn University and Jan McArt, producer and director of theatre arts program development, invite theater fans to this season's second Jan McArt's New Play Readings show, Agent of Change by Greg Burdick.
The production follows retired Vietnam pilot Maj. Thomas Gardner as he's about to give up all hope and faith in the country he loves and swore to defend. This changes when he discovers something startling about the woman treating him, causing him to rethink what can be truly beautiful.
Under the leadership and guidance of McArt, this program develops new plays by highly acclaimed playwrights through staged readings. Tony Finstrom is associate producer and Wayne Rudisill is resident director of the series, with readings held in the university's Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center.
