Jaimie Roberts Performs Holiday Favorites At The Garden Theatre 12/4-6

The Garden Theatre presents the Jaimie Roberts Holiday Cabaret from December 4-6, 2009, at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street). Ms. Roberts will perform with her 5-piece orchestra a lively celebration of holiday favorites for the whole family. Her Holiday Cabaret concert coincides with the City's Light-Up Winter Garden event in historic downtown on December 4.

ABOUT JAIMIE ROBERTS

A Native Floridian, Jaimie has performed extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, and the Caribbean. She has been a featured performer at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, Harrah's Casino in New Orleans, Cannery Casino in Las Vegas, and the Four Season's in Beverly Hills. Jaimie has been the opening act for many name performers such as Shirley MacLaine, Vince Gill, and The Commodores.

In 2009, she was a headline act, alongside Bobby Vinton and Ricky Scaggs in Perry, GA. She has been featured 5 years in a row at the Mad Cow Cabaret Festival in Orlando, FL, where she writes, produces, and performs her own one-woman, musical/comedy show.

Her newly released CD, Red Hot from the Attic Door is now available on iTunes, and CD Baby. This live recording features jazz, standards, and some of Jaimie's most popular comedic parody's including Chic-Fil-A and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

ABOUT THE GARDEN THEATRE

Located in the heart of historic downtown Winter Garden on Plant Street, the Garden Theatre is operated by the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit community organization which works to preserve local history and offers cultural theatric experiences unique to West Orange County and the citizens of Winter Garden. The theatre restoration project, which began in 2003, showcases an atmospheric theatre in a Mediterranean Revival style venue. The former single screen movie theater hosts live theatre, dance and music, cinema viewings, various community events and educational programs.
