Miami Dade College's North Campus theater
department will perform Into the Woods,
a musical that masterfully blends classical American fairytales
Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack & The Beanstalk
and Rapunzel with a fresh tale about a baker and his wife and
their attempt to correct a curse they believe prevents them from having children.
In an attempt to reverse the curse the baker and his wife reach an agreement
with a witch so she can acquire a potion to get them a child.
The show will debut at the William and Joan Lehman Theatre, 11380 N.W. 27th Avenue, Building 5 on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 8 p.m. Additional play dates include Saturday, February 18, 2006, at 8 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 2 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2006 and Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 8 p.m. and Friday, February 24, 2006 at 11 a.m.
Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for students, seniors and children.
