Just The Funny brings trivia into the mix with the POP CULTURE IMPROV CHALLENGE

"Improv Comedy plus Useless Trivia Equals LAUGHTER!"

JUST THE FUNNY, Miami's Home for Improv and Sketch Comedy, presents an all-ages show where two comedy teams compete against each other in improvised scenes based on audience suggestions.  Mix in a trivia competition where members of the audience are randomly chosen to test their knowledge of TV, movies, music, celebrities, and more.  What you get is Just The Funny's POP CULTURE IMPROV CHALLENGE, their newest show that combines live comedy improv with pop culture trivia.  The show will take place on Saturday, August 2 at the Just The Funny Theater & Training Center at 3119 Coral Way in Miami.

Audience members will have a chance to be paired up with comedy teams in order to help (or hurt) each teams' overall score.  At the end, the winning team (and their audience helpers) will receive a prize; the losing team will receive... something else. 

Just The Funny Co-Director, Carlos Rivera explains, "There's a need out there for quiz shows that regular people can actually win, with questions that don't require a PH.d.  We reward people for good grades in school; should we not equally reward those who know all the American Idol winners, Luke Skywalker's home planet, or Screech's real name?!  Answer - Yes we should!" 

After the 9:00 pm show, you may stay for their unrated, Chicago-style improvised comedy review at 11:00 pm. 

Tickets for the Pop Culture Improv Challenge are $10 for the 9 pm shows and $5 for the 11 pm shows or $12 for both the 9 and 11 pm shows, and can be purchased at www.justthefunny.com or at the theatre.
