Florida Stage and The Lord's Place invite you to
Long Story Short, Monday February 27th at 7:00 p.m.
Join them for a reading of an exciting new play by award-winning
playwright Doug Cooney, a presentation of Florida Stage's Young
Voices Series.

Based on playwright Cooney's first-hand experience with homeless
families and individuals at Cafe Joshua and at the three Lord's Place shelters,
Long Story Short weaves an intricate thread of personal stories; at
times funny, at others heartbreaking, creating a stunning collage of the human
experience.
The play's talented ensemble will be made up of seven professional
actors who will inhabit the varied and fascinating characters taken from
all walks of life.
Don't miss this compelling glimpse into the lives of homeless
families and individuals determined to change and restore their
futures.

The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Florida Stage and is free and
open to the public. Seating is available on a first come, first served
basis.
