The well-known BIG-Z BAND from Bradenton will be performing Motown hits at the third FREE FridayFest concert on the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Bay Front on Friday, August 27, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Big-Z Band travels as a 5-piece, 6-piece or 10-piece show band that offers some of the most talented musicians in the area. Big-Z plays a variety of popular titles and chart-topping hits with their own distinctive flair. The Big-Z Band is versatile and can perform for any type of function.
The Big-Z Band plays hits from some of the most memorable moments of music history. In the 1970's bands like Earth, Wind and Fire, KC & The Sunshine Band, The Temptations and singers like Al Green topped the charts. In the 1980's Santana, The Commodores, Paul McCartney and Prince were turning out the hits. The Big-Z Band plays the sounds of yesterday and today for the dancing delight of the audiences. The audience who attend this concert will enjoy the electrifying showmanship of these talented musicians while reminiscing to all of your favorite songs.
FridayFest is an ideal way to unwind after a busy week and usher in another great weekend in Paradise. Guests are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Local vendors will offer food and beverages. Outside drink and food is prohibited; coolers and weapons of any kind are prohibited as well. FridayFest takes place rain or shine.

The last concert for the season will take place on Friday, September 24, with "Big Night Out" (Latin/Salsa) performing.
