Florida's Online 'Half Price Ticket Booth'-Other Discounts

Half price tickets have been available at many venues in Florida for many years.  Most folks don't know this fact or how to get their tickets.

From the northern tip of Tallahassee down to the southern edge of the Keys, the MAJORITY of theaters have discount programs for ticket sales of same day performances (just like New York's half price ticket booth.) 

Many theaters start selling half price tickets for that evening or matinee performance as soon as the box office opens in the morning.  At some theaters, they start selling half price tickets two hours prior to the begining of performance.

You simply need to phone the individual theater (or visit the theater's website) and ask about half price tickets or any other ticket purchasing possibilities at less than full price.   

South Florida has an underutilized online half price ticket booth.  Not enough theaters are participating yet and not enough theatergoers are taking advantage of the site offers.  I suspect this site will grow over time, and eventually this website, or others will include special ticket offers for theaters throughout the state.  For now, visit www.culturalconnection.org  and familiarize yourself with the site.  Hopefully, this will save you some money now or in your future theatergoing. 

It takes a bit of time and energy, but discounted tickets can indeed be found and had for the vast majority of entertainments taking place in our tropical paradise of Florida.  Happy Theatergoing!!!
