Reminds Theatergoers: ArshtCenter.org is the primary authorized online ticket seller in Miami

Broadway Across America and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County proudly present several of the most popular touring productions currently on the road. The 2011–2012 Broadway in Miami season is no exception with the much anticipated Miami premiere of Disney's THE LION KING.

With all productions presented by Broadway in Miami, customers are able to purchase their tickets through www.arshtcenter.org, the primary authorized online ticket seller, by calling 305-949-6722 or in person at the Arsht Center Box Office. Fans may also place ticket orders through www.ticketmaster.com.

Due to the popularity of these touring productions, ticket buyers often find that tickets are available through secondary ticket agencies or brokers, but the Adrienne Arsht Center cautions consumers that www.arshtcenter.org is the primary authorized seller and the most secure way of obtaining tickets for Broadway In Miami performances.

"Our recent public on-sale event proved how excited South Florida audiences are to experience the magic of Disney's The Lion King," said M. John Richard, president and CEO of the Adrienne Arsht Center. "However, we want to remind our patrons to be cautious of forged tickets when placing ticket orders through third party brokers. Great, valid seat locations are still available through our website, www.arshtcenter.org."

Important information to know when purchasing tickets through unauthorized ticket agencies or brokers:

• The Arsht Center is unable to track ticket orders made through a third party.

• If a customer loses or never receives his or her tickets, the Arsht Center in unable to reprint the tickets. 

• Unauthorized ticket agencies or brokers usually do not honor the face value of the ticket price listed on www.arshtcenter.org and www.ticketmaster.com, and may charge additional fees. 

• For the best customer service experience, lowest prices, up-to-date information, and to guarantee admission to the show, even in the event of a lost ticket, customers are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets through www.arshtcenter.org..
