Silver Palm Award-Winning producers Matt May and Jenn Sierra-Grobbelaar ecstatically announce the release of "Party In My Pants," from their critically-acclaimed musical comedy Diego & Drew Say I Do. Fort Lauderdale's own Broadway cabaret songstress Jennifer McClain will host the official CD release party December 5th at 10:30pm during her weekly "Cast Party" at Georgie's Alibi of Wilton Manors. Carbonell Award nominee and two-time Silver Palm Award winner Mike Westrich will reprise the vocal stylings of his character, Vance Treble, with a live performance of the hit single. CDs will be sold on site for $5 each with a portion of the proceeds raised that evening to benefit Poverello.
"Party In My Pants" is performed at the climax of Diego & Drew Say I Do by Vance Treble, an ex-boy band/pop idol and emcee of Diego & Drew's over-the-top wedding. By popular request, co-writers/producers/lyricists May and Sierra-Grobbelaar chose to produce the single and give the show's fans what they've been begging for. Composer Maciej Osada-Sobczynski wrote and recorded the original musical composition for the production from Poland. The CD was recorded and mixed locally by South Florida recording artist and music producer Ben Bagby. Further, the single is set to be available on iTunes and Amazon in the New Year.
With a continued mission on giving back to the LGBTQ community that helped support the cultivation and growth of Diego & Drew Say I Do, the producers have partnered with the Poverello Center in Wilton Manors to donate a portion of the proceeds of CD sales at the December 5th event.
