Presented in the 80-seat Black Box Studio located on the third floor directly above the Coral Springs Museum of Art, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE is a modern twist on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, set in New York City. The story begins with Austin Bennet, a young greeting card writer whose life is changed when he meets Marcy, a flighty photographer. Along with Austin's brother Jeff, the eternal bachelor, and Marcy's best friend, Diana, an actuary, the two learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them. Incredibly entertaining with both catchy music and a quick-witted script, this is the ideal musical about the pursuit of love in New York City.
