DECEMBER

December 11 at 7 pm (Tuesday)

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Everyone's favorite holiday classic comes to life in the all-new touring production A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage! Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang as they put on their own Christmas play and ultimately discover the true meaning of the season. This is a present the whole family can enjoy! Adapted from Charles M. Schulz's timeless story of the spirit of Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage features the unforgettable music of Vince Guaraldi, as well as a concert of beloved holiday carols performed by the Peanuts characters. There's no better way to discover the magic of the season! (Show runs 80 minutes with intermission.)

The Sound of Music

Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "sparkling, fresh and lively," the "Hills are Alive" as this brand new production comes to Coral Springs. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony, Grammy and Academy Award winning Best Score, including My Favorite Things, Edelweiss and the title song. The Sound of Music enjoyed extraordinary success as a live television production when it aired on NBC in December 2013 and was seen by over 44 million people. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.

Salute to Vienna

Usher in the New Year with a glittery celebration of singing and dancing that will delight the senses. Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert recreates the beauty of Vienna's golden era and its elegance charms audiences of every age. An 18-year Coral Springs tradition, this year's concert will feature a brilliant new program of Strauss waltzes and sweeping melodies from beloved operettas performed by acclaimed European singers, champion ballroom dancers, ballet, and live symphony orchestra. The first effortless notes of the eternal Blue Danube Waltz will welcome the audience into a triumphant 2019.

Swan Lake

Ballet in four acts with one intermission) Music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Choreography after Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. This full-scale production of Swan Lake, set to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and based on Russian folklore and German legend, follows a heroic young prince as he works to free the beautiful swan maiden from an evil spell. The first visit to the United States of America, the legendary National Ballet Theatre of Odessa with 55 talented and brightest ballet stars bring this romantic tale of true love to glorious life.

Tusk

Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

No wigs, no backing tracks, no gimmicks, Tusk recreates the music of Fleetwood Mac to perfection with note for note renditions that no other tribute band on the touring scene today can come close to duplicating. Concert scheduled for 120 minutes.
