Stand-up comedian Mike Marino - affectionately known to fans as "New Jersey's Bad Boy" - brings his hysterical take on the Italian-American experience to The RRazz Room at Mizner Park Cultural Center. A native of Jersey City, Mike's material is largely inspired by his own life - from his Italian family roots to his edgy observations about everyday life. His riotous approach to stand-up has taken him from The Tonight Show, Comics Unleashed to sitcoms (including appearances on Frasier & Becker) to major nightclubs, theatres and casinos from New York City to Los Angeles and around the world. Mike's also been a highlight of Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Festival for seven years in a row. In 2008, Marino was inducted into the New Jersey Comedy Hall Of Fame, and on 2015, he was awarded the USO Bob Hope Comedy Award for his regular performances for our US military. He currently appears on his own DDV Radio Show Live From My Mother's Basement. and on a new web series A Marino Moment In History only on YouTube.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and now calling Florida his home, Michael Panzeca first learned to appreciate the power of laughter by sharing his spontaneous comedic, witty observations on the back of the school bus and in the classroom to deal with his pain and anxiety of being the smallest and the youngest Italian kid in the class from what he thought was the only dysfunctional family in the world.
This skill of turning pain into laughter was later enjoyed and appreciated by the many people and families he helped during his career as counselor. What started as a coping mechanism later became a hobby and then a career in comedy after winning several contests and getting noticed by agents and bookers in the clubs where he practiced his craft.

Michael eventually moved on from the therapy world and business of making people cry to the business of making people laugh until they cry as a full time headlining comedian entertaining at conventions and then clubs, colleges, casinos, condos and cruise ships for the past 25 yrs with his insightful, honest style of comedy.
He also was Tony in long running theater show Tony and Maria's Wedding, a regular on the the Ron and Fez radio show and a member of the improv troupe Comedy Sportz. He has been heard on Sirius /XM Radio. He is a writer, actor, director and teacher of comedy at the world famous Improv.

Michael knows himself and his audience and isn't afraid to connect with them with his material or interactions with the crowd.
