Climate Theater is delighted to announce the next chapter in its efforts to create "a vital scene and vibrant avenue for some of the most dynamic and promising crossover and experimental work around" (SF Bay Guardian).

Climate Theater has moved from its SoMa location to a brand new home: TJT 470 Florida St. (between 17th & Mariposa)

Starting in August, Climate will be taking up residence with our friends at TJT, while the search for a permanent space continues.

For the past ten years, Climate Theater resided at 285 9th St. in San Francisco's South of Market district. During its time there, Climate built a reputation as a hole-in-the-wall boutique theater that was vastly outsized by its own cultural impact on the city's artistic community.

During the next six months of residence at TJT 470 Florida St., Climate will be presenting its most ambitious season to date, featuring two exciting world premieres (Jawvox & The Man of Rock) as well as old favorites such as Faux Real, The Dating Game & the Clown Cabaret. With an impressive roster of performers that includes beat boxers, clowns, musicians and drag queens, Climate remains committed to bringing Bay Area audiences a wildly diverse cross-section of local talent. "TJT feels like the perfect place for us to have landed temporarily. We are very lucky for this opportunity to both have a larger home to present our season in and the chance to continue expanding our programs. And for the air conditioning," says Climate's Artistic Director, Jessica Heidt.
